South Florida Family Law Attorney
Any matter that involves family is of course going to involve strong emotions from every involved party. When it comes to matters pertaining to Family Law, especially, the powerful emotional strain can often times be many times greater than even the legal matter at hand. I, more than many, understand this all too well as I have been a family law and divorce attorney here in South Florida for as long as I have been practicing law, almost 30 years now.
I always consider the emotional impact on my clients while fighting for their legal rights. When working within a legal issue that involves family law you must always consider the emotional state that both parties are in. It's the only way to provide effective legal counsel and representation to my clients.
South Florida Divorce Lawyer
Florida, like most states, is a no-fault divorce state. That means that you essentially do not need a reason to get a divorce.
Divorces in Florida are broken into two distinct categories.
Uncontested Divorce
In an uncontested divorce both parties come together to agree to the divorce. This doesn't necessarily mean that the divorce process is smooth a one, it just means that both parties agree that it is time to end their marriage.
Contested Divorce
In a contested divorce one party initiates the divorce and the other spouse contests the ground(s) or just the divorce in general. This is where a court must become involved in order to finalize the divorce.
In either divorce proceeding it is always recommended that you have a divorce attorney representing you and your interests at all times. With my knowledge and experience as a South Florida Divorce Attorney, I will be there to guide you through each and every step of the process. I will be there protecting your rights and helping you through this difficult time in your life.
